I booked The Gap and Natural Wonders tour with Albany Tours rather than take the cruise ship excursion which was shorter and way more expensive. We were picked up at the cruise port and it turned out all the people on my tour were from my cruise ship. There were 10 people on my tour in a minibus. We had ample time at all of the attractions and our guide walked with us and gave explanations and answered any questions. Our guide loved Albany and gave a lot of information about the city too. We stopped for a delicious scone and hot chocolate at the Whaling Station. Torndirrup National Park is a must see when in Albany. We also visited The Albany Wind Farm.

Tim picked us up promptly at our caravan park in an immaculately clean vehicle. He is an engaging person, full of knowledge about Albany and its surrounds – we could not have appreciated this itinerary if we’d tried to do it on our own. The coastal scenery is amazing, then being up close to the wind turbines, and finally the view of Albany from Mount Melville. Oh, and the scones and tea at the whale centre were great too. Highly recommend this tour, especially if Tim is leading it.

Good Evening,
I really have enjoyed the tour. It was nice to be on the excursion with only 10 people. The stops were gorgeous, nevertheless it rained at the best stop. And our guide told us so many interesting things. My english is not so perfect, but I understand most of it. So it was great for me.
Thanks a lot for this tour to you and our Tour guide

We were in Bremer Bay for four days in March 2022. We flew to Albany and arranged for Susan to drive us to Bremer Bay and back. She made the whole booking process and the trip so easy and pleasant. We needed flexibility on the dates while booking the trip from the USA. Susan was very responsive over WhatsApp and made the entire experience a breeze. She is a friendly and cheerful professional, as well as a safe driver. She followed all COVID protocols and went out of her way to make sure we felt safe. We will be calling her again on future trips. Thank you Susan!

Do yourself a favour and book onto this tour – you will be richer for the experience. From the moment our lovely tour guide Sue picked us up the whole day was fun. Sue is a local and very knowledgeable about the Mt Barker region which made for an interesting ride between four wineries. Forget steel and glass cellar doors with overpriced souvenirs – you won’t be going there. You will go to four family-run vineyards in beautiful settings and you will taste a huge array of fabulous wines. Pace yourself – you won’t want to miss out by peaking too early and this is a big day of tasting for all of us wine lovers! Oh and take your credit card – you will probably come home with some great wine which Sue will happily put into the back of the bus so you have your hands free for more tastings. This is arguably the best wine tour we have ever been on and we highly recommend it.

My husband and I had the best day with our guide Sue and fellow travellers. Sue took us to four rustic, family owned wineries and we were not disappointed by any of them! Gilbert’s winery was the start of our tour after which the rest had a tough act to follow! Loved the country style venue, the beautiful views across the hill to the mountains.

I enjoyed it immensely. Tim is a fantastic guide, full of information and stories and fun. He kept us fully informed about the surrounding countryside and geology and made us aware of possible problem conditions such as how to recognise and avoid slippery rocks.
At the top he gave step by step instructions which gave me more confidence. I believe I only made it to the top because of this.
I’m very impressed! Thank you for the opportunity.

Last Friday I took an Art Trail tour with ALBANY TOURS. Susan and Rick were great hosts and made the whole day a very relaxing way to see galleries on the art trail. While I could have driven myself and my two friends around, I enjoyed the experience of letting others do the navigating and guiding. Susan gave an introduction to each gallery and the specialties of each artist and had arranged for the artists to give an introduction to their work and techniques. The tour included a very satisfying lunch at the Lake House. I will go on this tour again next year.
